Param
Initial Menu - no FX Parameters have been touched
If no FX Parameters have been touched, a menu similar to this will show.
Choosing an option from the second menu will show a list of FX parameters
- Show in track controls - Choosing a parameter will show it in the TCP
- Show track envelope - Choosing a parameter will show the envelope for that parameter in its own lane - under the main track lane.
Parameter modulation
- Parameter modulation - Choosing a parameter will show a dialogue similar to this (this example is the Vol FX parameter):
- Enable param... ...overides) - Enables or disables parameter modulation, always subject to automation envelopes though.
- Audio control signal
- Source audio channel - Displays a drop down menu similar to this:
- Attack -
- Release -
- Strength -
- Direction - Negative, Centred or Positive
- LFO - Low Frequency Oscillator
- Shape - Sine, Square, Saw, etc.
- Tempo sync - Check this option to synchronise the LFO with the tempo of the song
- Speed - The speed of the LFO, disabled if Tempo sync is checked.
- Strength - The strength of the LFO, the amplitude of the waves
- Direction - Negative, Centred or Positive
- Audio control signal shaping
- Curve Edit - Drag the focal point of the curve
- Input dB
- Minimum - Set the Minimum value
- Maximum - Set the Maximum value
Initial Menu - FX Parameters have been touched
If, however, FX Parameters have been touched, a menu similar to this will show instead
You can see that in this example the FX parameter NoteStar (shortened from NoteStart) was the last touched - so the param button gives you some shortcuts; it saves you making that extra click into the 2nd menu if it's NoteStart you need to work with, and as that's the one you touched last it might well be.
